Shanker : hmmm....any of em interested in watching the Champions League final?
There's still some leftovers from the final day of EPL...
Me : i am interested... hehehehe.... wat is the exact date & time ah? i have to start planning my "leave" d... hehehehe... Allen, Kenny, Elaine.. u guys into it???
AKH : sure come one.....this time I think my dad knock out ...too early in the morning for him....we camp in shaker's house...dinner and breakfast provided...ha ha!!!

Time : At about Graveyard shift hours (most prob 2 or 3 am)
MC : Chits will be supplied on a first come first serve basis via tender to the highest bidder...
Me : need to change the subject title of this email d...
so.. game is on 21may.. means malaysian time 22 may(thursday) early morning rite??? dinner & bfast provided? hahaha.. AKH is gonna sponsor izzit????
Shanker : Time : Think so. Will verify the date - so when you guys apply for MC/EL/AL/AWOL - whatever, it will be the right date...
Food: Will leave that to the organising Chairman (AKH - hereby voluntarily elected) to decide...

Elaine.. juz now i checked Astro... match is 2am.. (early morning of Thursday, 22 May) so.. by time whole thing finish.. shd be around 4-5am la.. hope the match dun go into extra time/penalty shoot out la.. den it will be even longer.. hahaha...
Shanker : Cushion pillows will be provided for those who enter wearing an MU jersey....
Kenny : wah u guys so happening ah... macam besok already final... hahaha....pls count me in yah... wah must wear MU jersey one ah? then hv to go petaling street buy one... anyone can help me to buy? hahahha... =Peh btw Marianne... it should be UEFA not EUFA.... =P

Finally… only myself and Kenny crashed at Shanker’s hse to watch the finals. True footy fans.. the rest???
Allen – got to attend a meeting with boss the next morning at 830am.. can’t afford to stay up “early”
Elaine – can’t afford to stay up “early” oso.. well… this one… not really a DIE HARD footy/Man Utd fan
AKH – initially joining us at Shanker’s. But finally watched at home pulak..

Hmmm… knowing myself… I sure over slept if I go to sleep now and set the alarm to wake up at 2am… so.. I took out my DVD folder and selected 2 movies to watch…
By time I finished the 2nd movie… it’s about time!!!

The game starts!!
The 1st half was so entertaining… “MU’s passing is so sleek…”, claimed Shanker…
Yes!!! Their passing is juz amazing!!! Ronaldo scored MU’s 1st goal with a great header after some very nice passes from his MU teammates. HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone in the room jumped with joy!!!!

Few more mins to ½ time… MU’s defence started to break… being complacent eh?
Outcome? Chelsea's Frank Lampard took advantage of this and equalized before the ½ time whistle was blown.
Arghhhhhhhhh……… the whole room was in silence after Chelsea equalized… Typical reaction from MU fan…
2nd half… score still 1-1. But there are a few heart pumping moments from both sides… nice shots on goal.. but didn’t result in another goal.
90 mins up! Extra time!!! Oh… it’s 430am and the match has no winner yet!!!
I almost fell asleep during extra time… I doze off on several occasions… only towards the last few mins I was FULLY awake!!!
It’s MU’s kick but somehow.. chelsea players went up to MU players… outcome? Chelsea’s Drogba got sent off! RED Card from the referee!!!
Chelsea down to 10 man…
Times up!!! It’s penalty shootout time… This is the most nerve wrecking part…
