Tonight... I read a friend's blog about someone who has juz lost her loved one. This brought back memories of Ann Ann.
Ann Ann is my youngest sister, who would have been 16 yrs old this year had she still on earth.
She was diagnosed with Leukemia in July 2002, went through chemotherapy for 2 yrs. Then, end of 2004, she had a relapse which require bone marrow transplant.
Ann Ann has gone through bone marrow transplant in Oct 2005. I was the donor. Within 3 months, she had another relapse.
After a good fight, finally... she had ran a good race and went home with the Lord on 8th February 2007.
2 Tim 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Ann Ann is a very strong gal... even through she frequent the hospital with multiple jab in a day... she still kept her smile and this has cheered up the doctors and nurses in the ward. Her smile and cheerfulness even 'infected' the patients around there. This has truly brought much encouragements to those who were also suffering from terminal illness.
She never stop reminding mum to bake cheese cake, scones and muffins to give it to the people around the ward where she stayed. This has truly brought smile to everyone.
Some photos of Ann Ann with all of us.
Happy Family =)
