Ant's Friends

2nite... from my previous blog... it shows how much friends can mean to us especially when we're in need.

Hence... this blog about my friends... people who mean so much to me.

Tikus / Hamster
A name we fondly call him... got stucked with calling him with this name d. He's a very very good friend of mine. A friend whom I can count on... a friend whom I can share my heart out... a friend whom I can totally be myself and not afraid that he will look at me differently when He got to know the TRUE me.

"We can count our friends using fingers and toes, we can count our good friends with our fingers only. But for very good friends, it only take less than 1 hand to count." I heard him said.

Very good friends are hard to find. I'm privilege to be called one.

Got to know him when I first attended cell group meeting, that was like 4 yrs ago. "He's a very very talkative person!", that's my 1st impression on him.

As I get to know him more.. more time are spent sharing... I find him a very good listener. He's a person who always encourages me, nudges me when I'm lazy, picks me up when I fall, he's like a big brother. I've always long for one, cuz it's so tiring at times being the eldest in the family. Now I have someone 'older' than me... it felt so nice to be that little sister! Hahaha...


CV aka See Wee
He is also a very very good friend of mine...He's someone I can also share my heart out...and he will always be there to listen to my 'grandmother' story... my life, my complaints, my struggles, my 'not so wise' times, my ups, my downs... ANYTHING! I can just share ANYTHING n EVERYTHING with him.

My most memorable moment of sharing with him was when we were still studying in MMU (tat's how long I knew him, 9 yrs?), where we were relaxing outside the library after many hours of studies. We lied down at the pavement and gaze into the sky... enjoying the moonlight... the night sky... the quietness. It was a very memorable experience of being able to be so comfortable with someone even in silence!

That's how far our friendship can go. No lovey dovey feelings towards each other... I just feel very at ease when he's around.


Yaw
Another very very close friend of mine (noticed my closest friends are guys? hahaha...). This one... whoa!!! it goes a long way back. We teamed up for almost any occasions u can name it. We went to the same university, took the same course, did the final year project in the same team, worked together under the same department in our first job!!!

"Oh... Marianne don't eat this... Marianne won't like that...". He will make remarks for me even before I answer when ppl asked certain questions.. that shows how well he understands me! We studied together for 3 years, worked together for another 3 years!!!

He's someone of a very different character from me... he's always the one who pulls me back to reality. I'm the idealist, he's the realist. We really need a friend like this... to help us stand firmly on earth. Haha...


Kenny
Also a very close friend I got to know in church. He's a quiet person honestly. Seldom talk. Even when we hang out together, I'm always the one who talks alot.. haha. He's a good listener... although he seldom gives opinions, but he's a good listener. When he does give his opinion... it's for sure a very precious one.

He's the Co-founder of EBC. A title he gave to himself. The President? The 1st person on this list la. haha!


Wen Nee
Now... come to the gals. A very good friend who has the total opposite character from me!
I'm chatty, she's quiet.
I'm an extrovert, she's an introvert.
I love sports and outdoor games, she loves being at home quietly.
I care less about things, she see the details.

But, we're the best of friends since secondary school days!

Though she's now very far from me... pursuing her PHD in the US, and I missed her so much. But I know... she's always there for me, looking out for me. A simple "how are u?" on the MSN really made my day. We would chat and chat on MSN till she keep urging me to go get a mic la... so we can chat on SKYPE! haha... okie okie.. I shall go get one!


Lee Ping
Our friendship started since secondary school days when we took the same bus to school. She's my senior in school. But we tagged along very well... thanks to our comment interest - Football and Manchester United!!!

We can go on and on about football, Manchester United, Eric Cantona, David Beckham for hours!!! We used to exchange info on the magazines we have... the latest news we read about the sport! Those were the days... ahhh... bringing me back down memory lane.

Our friendship doesn't stop at football. She's also a very good friend cuz of our similar character. We're both very tom-boy... the macho type of gal..hehehe... maybe tat's why we got along with each other so easily. Cuz we speak the same 'language!" Hahaha...

Now tat she got married and staying not too near, we seldom have the time to catch up with each other like good old days. But, we do give each other a call occasionally just to catch up on our lives.


Salina
A friend whom I have lost touch since uni days, though we do catch up occasionally when she comes to KL. But, distance and busyness in life has pulled us apart. We used to be very close friends during our uni days. She was my ONLY close gal friend then.

A friend with a very strong character. "She's always creating revolution wherever she goes!" A friend made this remark about her. Haha...


Elaine
A very close friend whom I got to know in church. We got closer when we started playing badminton every Sunday. She's someone whom you can go up to when u needed care and concern. She has a servant and giving heart. She's always ready to give. An encouragement card, a small gift, a box of sweets, a meal... all these are her trademark.

She's juz like my big sister... so caring... so helpful... so encouraging.. so supportive. When I am down.. she can sense it and will ask me.. "Are u ok? How are u?" Wow... tat juz makes my heart felt so touch, so warm!!!

She's the Financial Controller of our EBC. A name we coined for our so called group... which has since not been very active tho.. haha..


Christine
A friend I got close at my ex-work place. "Oh! U're leaving us at a time I juz started to get to know u more!" was her remarks when I told her I'm resigning then.

We still keep in touch even after I left my previous company. We shared a lot on MSN. We shared about our struggles and our walk with God. Although our friendship is not yet very deep, but I find her a very good friend to have, cuz of the sharing we have with each other on our journey with God.


Pau aka Pauline
Last but not least... a new friend(well.. not so new la.. i say NEW is cuz I get to know her more and in a much deeper way only lately la).

She's someone not easy to understand. TO be very honest. =P To me... getting to know and understand her is like discovering a precious treasure. As I move a step forward in our friendship, I find that I'm a step closer to discovering the mystery of this treasure. A very funny way to describe our friendship... but tat's how i find it. Haha...

She's someone I started to take as a very close friend of mine. I find that she's someone whom I can trust with my sharing. "That's cuz I'm in HR mah... need to zip my mouth one!", That's what she told me when I told her I can trust and count on her. Macho is a word she used to describe herself. But I know... deep down inside... she has a very soft heart. =P


I just wanna say a big THANK YOU to all of you who has left your footprints in my heart & life. Thank you so much for being my friend. I treasure each and everyone of you very much!
